Also, here’s a lesser known observance. This Sunday is also the traditional Mercy Sunday, which you’ll notice with the “Misericordia Domini” incipit in the Mass introit. This is something to keep in mind when we contrast the old calendar with the Novus Church’s St. Faustina Mercy Festival from last week.
