This page is dedicated to posts I have published related to the following true proposition:
The public sin of manifest formal heresy per se separates the heretic from the Church.
Public = exposed to general view
Manifest = perceivable and apprehendable
Formal = pertinacious
Heresy = a proposition that directly contradicts a teaching of the Church which must be believed with Divine and Catholic Faith.
Per se = by its very nature
Heretic = a baptized person claiming to be Christian who pertinaciously denies or doubts a teaching of the Church which must be believed with Divine and Catholic Faith.
One who knowingly, consciously, and willingly publicly asserts a proposition that is in direct contradiction to a Church teaching that must be believed with Divine and Catholic Faith separates himself from the Church by that very fact.
One who knowingly, consciously, and willingly publicly denies or doubts a Church teaching that must be believed with Divine and Catholic Faith separates himself from the Church by that very fact.
