The Crucifix of Cevo – Don Luigi Villa Was Right

Here is a reprint of an article written by Don Luigi Villa, which appeared in the December 1998 Issue (#301) of “Chiesa Viva”, about the horrible crucifix erected in September 1998 in the Italian province of Brescia.  On that occasion, Pope John Paul II praised Pope Paul VI on the centenary of his birth.  This same crucifix fell down on April 24, 2014 and crushed a man, who lived on a street named after Pope John XXIII, taking a picture beside it.  It is very interesting that the crucifix falling down took place on the same day that a preview of a news report indicated that Pope Paul VI could be beatified in October 2014.  A sign of Our Lord’s anger?
